We have never claimed that our products are completely sturdy (0% wobble). Even military-grade pull up bars, buried in the ground and anchored at four corners with steel wires, still exhibit some degree of wobble. In contrast, our products are portable and assembled type. Despite this, we can confidently state that our products are among the most stable self-standing pull up bars in the market compared to similar products. Avoid forming an opinion about our product’s sturdiness merely by shaking it side-to-side while you are standing on the ground. Engage in actual pull-ups on it to experience its true stability, as the application of your gravitational pull influences the structure
Although our product is designed for exercises beneath the handlebar (pull-ups, chin-ups, knee raises, leg raises, body swings, etc.), skilled users can still perform “muscle ups” efficiently.
If you have never performed a “muscle up” before, do not attempt to learn or practice this on our product at home, as inexperienced users may cause it to sway significantly. This can impede skill improvement. Train on a buried pull up bar in a park to hone your skills. Once you’ve mastered the “muscle up”, you can comfortably perform it with the KT folding pull up bar at home.
Please ensure to widen the footprint (spread range) of the KT folding frame as much as possible when performing exercises that require safety, such as aerial yoga, body swings, kipping pull-ups, muscle ups, and turn overs…
If you still feel the frame is not as stable as you’d prefer while performing exercises like muscle-ups or body swings, despite having the distance-setting-bars adjusted to their longest length and mounted to the bolts in the normal position (picture 2 and 8), consider mounting the bars to the bolts in the higher position to increase the frame’s footprint (picture 3 and 9).
Alternatively, you can place heavy objects (such as sandbags) into the base of the KT frame to enhance stability (picture 5 and 10). These items should have a total weight greater than your own for safety assurance.
